Himshikha intends to achieve sustainable improvements in the health status among the vulnerable rural community, especially the farmers engaged in sustainable businesses by providing a range of medical services to them and their families for enhancing their health. To this end, Himshikha would be organizing health checkup camps for rural communities, providing free medicines, providing trainings to the farmers and other rural community members for prevention of diseases and epidemics, and creating awareness among the rural community regarding healthy and hygienic practices.
In addition, the Himshikha will support income-generating activities that will allow households and communities to acquire better nutrition and health status and to build and maintain water and sanitation systems. |
